Lost Minds Festival reveals Newcastle line-up with tickets on sale now for spring return

A dance festival which made its debut in Newcastle last year will be back this spring for another outing, this time with Dutch duo W&W heading up the party.

Lost Minds says the first festival, organised by Dance Generation Events, which was headlined by another Dutch talent, DJ Nicky Romer, proved a sell-out last April so plans are already well under way for its return a year on to Leazes Park in the city. Big room house favourites W&W - DJs and record producers Willem van Hanegem Jr. and Wardt van der Harst - are set to be a huge draw at the April 29 event.

Also on the main stage line-up will be Dr Peacock, with a rare UK performance, and back from last year will be global star Ben Nicky. In all, there will be three stages and lots more names - including Act of Rage; Brian Kearney; Shugz and Christina Novelli - have already signed up for a slot.

The festival has announced the first phase of acts with plenty more yet to be announced. It is promising a dance showcase of 'the biggest headliners in the world', complemented by quality production and special effects.

Other attractions at the day-long event, which will run from 1pm until 11pm, will include a festival village with food and drink, extreme rides, art installations, a Zen Tent and Rave-Aerobics. An official after-party is being planned too.

For more information and full details of who is already on the festival programme visit here and to buy tickets, which cost £45 or £65 for a VIP experience, see here. A pay-monthly ticket option is also available.
