Los Angeles fans really booed Kawhi Leonard at the Rams game

If you didn’t already know that Los Angeles is unquestionably a Lakers town, just look at how the Clippers’ biggest stars have been received at sporting events around town this weekend.

One day after new Clippers star Paul George was booed at Bellator 228 at The Forum, Kawhi Leonard thought it would be a cool idea to take in the Buccaneers-Rams game at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

Given that Kawhi spurned the Lakers to play for the in-town rival, Kawhi was booed heavily when they showed him on the videoboard at the Rams game.

It was almost like the Clippers aren’t a Los Angeles team at all.

I know the Clippers have fans. They averaged 90 percent capacity last season. But I also know the Lakers have WAY more fans in Los Angeles.

With that in mind, Kawhi and George shouldn’t expect the warmest of receptions from Laker Nation.
