Lord Terry Burns to step down from Pearson board

Lord Terry Burns, the new chairman of Channel 4, is to step down from the board of Financial Times publisher Pearson. Burns, who has been a non-executive director of Pearson since 1999, and the senior independent director since 2004, will retire on 30 April.
