Loose Women's Denise Welch furiously denies claims of 'feud' with Coleen Nolan

Denise Welch has hit back at accusations that there was tension on the Loose Women panel between herself and Coleen Nolan, branding the speculation 'utter bo**ocks'.

Both stars were on the line-up for Tuesday's edition of the ITV show, which was hosted by Christine Lampard. Midway through the show, Denise at at the centre of pre-recorded on location segment from LA, which saw her visit the homes of UK stars who have made it big in the States, including entertainment reporter Ross King and ex Office actress Lucy Davis.

However, it was during another part of Tuesday's Loose Women that viewers at home claim to have picked up on some frostiness between Denise and Coleen as a discussion played out on making the effort with friends when it comes to arranging catch ups.

Admitting that she think having plans written down helps her to stick to them, Denise said: "You put a pencil on it. You make more of an effort if you've got it in the diary somewhere as a little pencil."

Listening to Denise, Coleen quipped: "But then I'd forget the diary, so..." In turn, Christine asked her:: "You'd forget the diary, forget the invite?

Coleen said that when it came to meeting up with her Loose Women colleagues she didn't just "want to sit and chat," adding: ""I don't want to chat to you, I chat to you here,"

Firing back, Denise joked that Coleen 'wasn't invited anyway,' with co-star Linda Robison, sitting alongside them, chiming in to tell Coleen: "You're not on our group WhatsApp!"

A number of Loose Women viewers were quick to react to the exchange, with one posting on Twitter: "Denise and Coleen hate each other," and a second tweeting: "The tension between Coleen and Denise is so obvious."

However, when Denise caught sight of an article on the supposed 'feud' between her and Coleen, Denise Absolute and utter bo**ocks!!! stop trying to create problems because we are women!!"

One of DEnise's followers responded: "stop trying to create problems because we are women," with another commenting: "I saw that & didn't think anything of it. Same in my place, to get us all together can take weeks "
