Loose Women's Coleen Nolan admits to 'awkward moment' with Brenda Edwards

Coleen Nolan has admitted to an 'awkward moment' between her and co-star Brenda Edwards.

The Loose Women panelists discussed the moment that Coleen decided to let her "best friend" down by not watching her perform in a pantomime. The rest of the women on the show were all set to attend to support their co-worker and friend, but Coleen opted to go home instead.

Coleen admitted: "Now, Brenda. Me and you had a bit of an awkward moment today because the thing is you've just started panto and there's a big Loose Women outing going isn't there? Everyone's going even Janet...."

The panelists then started adding their own input as they digressed from the point before Coleen had to interrupt and continue where she was getting to. She said: "So the reason that it was an awkward situation is because I'm one of your besties and I feel bad because I'm not going."

The live audience erupted in a "ooooh" as Coleen interrupted them. She said: "Let me explain. So tomorrow after the show I go home to Cheshire so... I'm going home. But it doesn't mean I don't love you.

"And it's panto.... I'm not even going to my sister's panto to be honest with you and she is half an hour away. But it's that guilt of saying no isn't it?"

Brenda jokingly fluffed her hair as she said: "It's quite alright Coleen." Janet Street-Porter rubbed it in that she was making the effort of travelling two hours to see Brenda play her part but Coleen didn't take her on. Instead they turned it into a discussion where they decided that it is ok to say no to people.
