Loose Women's Charlene White 'silences' Josie Gibson over ITV stars' partying at Royal Ascot

Loose Women star Charlene White 'shut down' ITV colleague Josie Gibson live on This Morning, over fears that she'd let slip details of their partying at Royal Ascot last week.

With Holly Willoughby missing in action on Monday, Josie came in to host This Morning, alongside Craig Doyle, as a lot of viewers at home welcomed the shake up to the show's hosting line-up. The pair were joined by guests including Full Monty star Lesley Sharp and regulars like Gyles Brandreth and Camilla Tominey for the two and a half hour live broadcast and, with just over half an hour to go, crossed live to Charlene in the Loose Women studio.

Before Charlene began her preview of what was coming up on the programme, she remarked: "We had a lovely afternoon last week didn't we Josie?" to which the former Big Brother winner replied: "Oh, we had a brilliant time at Ascot; she's my little drinking buddy." That response prompted Craig to quiz: "Bit messy was it?" as Charlene told Josie to 'shhh' and jokingly put her finger to her lips.

Getting back to the job at hand, Charlene launched into her preview of Monday's Loose Women, introducing star guest Faye Tozer, before Josie, again mentioning their fun at Royal Ascot, added: "Really good fun on a day out Charlene is." That comment fuelled Craig's curiosity even more as he quipped: "I'm going to get the stories on that day at the races from her, as you're telling me nothing."

Looking slightly startled, Charlene interrupted: "No, no! No stories Josie," with Craig responding: "A lot of talk about rehydration tablets. That's all I've heard."
