Looking at the trade value of the Steelers’ draft picks

The Pittsburgh Steelers currently hold 10 picks in the 2019 NFL draft. It is highly unlikely the Steelers will make all 10 picks, so no one should be shocked if the Steelers package some of those later picks and attempt to move up at least once – maybe even more – to land an impact player or two.

Years ago, former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson created the trade value chart below. It’s a way to place a numerical value on a draft pick in order to weigh out the fairness of a trade offer.

If the Steelers do make a trade up, it might be trying to use the third-round pick acquired in the Antonio Brown trade to move up in the second round if a player they covet slides out of the first.
