Look After My Bills is recruiting for its south Wales site and jobs come with unlimited holidays

Energy switching website Look After My Bills is recruiting for its south Wales site.

The auto saving tech company is expanding its customer service operation in Newport.

Part of the package for new employees is unlimited holidays. This means employees can take as much paid leave as they want.

Look After My Bills was founded by Will Hodson and Henry De Zoete, and they appeared on the BBC show Dragon’s Den in 2018.

The pair walked out of the Den with the accolade of securing more money for less of their business than anyone had ever managed before.

All five Dragons made offers to invest in the business – with the co-founders eventually agreeing to take £120,000 for just 3% of their business from Dragons Tej Lalvani and Jenny Campbell.

Their appearance saw the company gain more than 2000,000 members after appearing on the show and the following year they were bought out by fellow comparison website GoCompare.

The company is now recruiting and are appealing to people who lost jobs in the retail and hospitality sector, as well as people with previous contact centre experience.

The new employees will be based in Newport (but are currently working remotely) and they will tasked with ensuring that Look After My Bills are able to keep their customers on the best deals year in year out and remove the hassle in switching providers.

The Newport-based GoCo – the group behind GoCompare.com – paid £8.5m to buy the site two years ago, with the deal potentially rising to £12.5m if performance targets are met. When the Dragon’s invested the business was valued at £4m.

The acquisition was made to complement GoCo’s savings service weflip.
