Longitude 2022: Everything you need to know ahead of the festival's return

Longitude is making its long awaited return to Marlay Park this summer, taking place from Friday, July 1 until Sunday, Jul 3.

With a stellar line-up of huge acts such as Megan Thee Stallion, Tyler The Creator, Asap Rocky, Mabel and Jack Harlow, Longitude 2022 is set to be one to remember.

From ways of getting there to banned items, here is everything you need to know ahead of Longitude 2022.

When is Longitude 2022?

Longitude 2022 takes place between Friday, July 1 and Sunday, July 3. Gates open at 1.30pm each day.

Who is playing at Longitude 2022?

The Longitude 2022 line-up is nothing short of packed, with a slew of huge international stars taking to the stage at the festival in Marlay Park.

The line-up include Megan Thee Stallion, Asap Rocky, Tyler The Creator, The Kid Laroi, Jack Harlow, Dave, Mabel, Playboi Carti, Aitch and many more.

Longitude 2022 set times

The set times have not been released for Longitude 2022 yet. The day be day line up for Longitude will be released at a time closer to the festival.

How to get to Longitude

Longitude takes place in Marlay Park in south Dublin.

LUAS, Dublin Bus, and Go Ahead will only be operating their normal scheduled services and will not be running additional services for these concerts.

If travelling by Dublin Bus, route 16 goes to the park from O'Connell Street.

Travel Master are operating bus services from the following counties: Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick, Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Galway, Westmeath, Meath, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo and Roscommon to Marlay Park and can be boked here.

Marathon Coaches will be operating a bus route from Custom House Quay and Dundrum Luas Station. They will operate a shuttle bus between Dundrum Luas station and Stonemasons Way

There is coach and minibus parking available within Marlay Park, access is via College Road. Festival organisers must be notified ahead of time, which can be done by emailing enquiries@festivalrepublic.com with your name, number of passengers, coach company, name of driver and date and time of arrival and departure.

The recommended drop off and collection point is at Our Lady’s School car park on Ballinteer Avenue.

Banned items

Items you will not be allowed to bring into the festival grounds include bags larger than A4, aerosols over 250ml, airhorns, alcohol, sound systems, animals (except assistance dogs), items reasonably considered for use as a weapon, audio-visual recording equipment, camping equipment, fireworks and flares.

In addition, drones, umbrellas, glass, unidentifiable substances, lasers and drinks with the exception of sealed soft drink bottles up to 500ml and empty reusable water bottles will be banned.

Are there still tickets to Longitude?

Tickets remain for Longitude 2022. This includes weekend tickets, day tickets and tickets to a variety of individual performances.

How should I dress for Longitude 2022?

Irish summers are notoriously unpredictable and concert goers are warned to be prepared for rain.

What should I bring to Longitude?

Ticket holders should bring a fully charged phone, good footwear and valid ID. You can also bring an empty reusable water bottle to fill up when at the festival.
