The District Congress Committee is organising a long march on March 31 as part of strengthening its protest against the SilverLine semi high speed rail project. The march will be flagged off from the Quit India Memorial at Chemancheri by MLA T. Siddique. The march led by DCC president K. Praveen Kumar will conclude at Kattilapeedika where the protest against the project has been going on for more than 500 days, a press release said.
