Welcome back to the Londoner’s Diary. First up Serpentine director Hans Ulrich Obrist tells us he would consider launching the gallery in the online “metaverse” once the virtual world cleans up its eco-credentials. Later, novelist Marlon James describes how a Björk album helped bring him back from the brink and chef Ainsley Harriott praises Londoners for making progress with their palates. In SW1A we hear John Bercow was straight in the action at his first local Labour party meeting and Tory MP Joy Morrisey suggests it’s time for every British citizen to be able to get a free portrait of the Queen if they write to their MP.
