London travel news LIVE: Jubilee line part suspended amid other severe delays as wintry weather hits capital

A fire alert at North Greenwich suspended the Jubilee Line service between Stratford and London Bridge this morning.

The rest of the line is severely delayed, with disruptions also affecting numerous other lines.

Meanwhile, the Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice that will affect services across the country today.

Customers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and check for the latest updates as services return to normal.

Mildmay update

Trains are now running again between Richmond and South Acton following the earlier points failure at Gunnersbury.

No service at South Bermondsey

A reminder that engineering work at South Bermondsey station means that trains will not be stopping there all day.

Services will be running non stop between Queens Road Peckham and London Bridge.

Normal service will resume at the station tomorrow.

District line update

There is now a good service on the District line.

The only lines with delays are now the Central, Jubilee and Mildmay lines.

Mildmay update

A reminder that the Mildmay line remains part suspended, with no service between Richmond and South Acton due to a points failure at Gunnersbury.

Victoria line update

The Victoria line is now running with a good service.

The Jubilee line is still running with severe delays, and remains suspended between Stratford and Canary Wharf - we’ll let you know when this changes.

Delays easing

There are no longer delays on the Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines.

Most delays now minor

The only severe delays on the network are on the Jubilee line. The line is also now suspended again between Stratford and Canary Wharf.

There are minor delays on the Bakerloo, Central, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, and Victoria lines.

Further delays

There are minor delays on the Central line due to train cancellations.

There are also severe delays on the Metropolitan line between Aldgate and Baker Street.

Jubilee line open again

Trains are now running again on the Jubilee line following the earlier fire alert.

Jubilee line update

Tfl have confirmed the fire alert on the Juiblee line is at North Greenwich.

The line is now suspended between Stratford and London Bridge, with severe delays on the rest of the line.

Widespread disruption

As well as the Jubilee line issues, there are numerous problems across the Tube and Overground network.

The Circle and Hammersmith & City lines are both running with severe delays following the earlier faulty train at Farringdon.

The District line is part suspended, with no service between Turnham Green and Richmond due to a points fault at Gunnersbury, and no service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road due to a faulty train at Edgware Road.

There are also minor delays on the Bakerloo and Victoria lines.

Jubilee line disruption

There is no further update as yet regarding the fire alert on the Jubilee line.

There remains no service between Stratford and Canary Wharf and severe delays on the rest of the line.

Tickets are being accepted on London Buses, London Overground, DLR, and the Elizabeth line.

Metropolitan and Circle lines update

There are minor delays on the Metropolitan and Circle lines between Baker Street and Aldgate due to a faulty train at Farringdon.

Severe Jubilee line delays

There is no service between Stratford and Canary Wharf on the Jubilee line while TfL respond to a fire alert.

Londoners battle freezing weather on return to work

Severe Victoria line delays

The entire Victoria line is now severely delayed following that earlier faulty train - we’ll let you know when this changes.

Disruption between London Bridge and Charing Cross

A fault on a train between London Bridge and Charing Cross means that trains running between these stations are facing disruption.

Trains may be cancelled, delayed, or diverted to London Cannon Street, with the disruption expected until around 10am.

District and Mildmay updates

The District line has no service between Turnham Green and Richmond due to a points fault at Gunnersbury.

There are also minor delays between Barking and Upminster eastbound only due to an earlier faulty train at West Kensington.

There is also no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction on the Mildmay line due to a faulty train - there is a good service on the rest of the line.

Victoria and Bakerloo updates

There are currently minor delays on the entire Bakerloo line due to train cancellations.

There are also minor delays on the Victoria line due to a faulty train at Finsbury Park - we’ll update you when this changes.
