London travel news LIVE: Tube and Overground hit by severe delays into morning rush-hour

Rush-hour commuters are facing delays on a number of Tube and Overground lines on Tuesday morning.

On the Overground, a fault with overhead wires in the Wembley area was causing severe delays on the Mildmay line as of 7am.

Meanwhile the Metropolitan line was suspended between Northwood and Watford/Rickmansworth due to a signal failure.

The Waterloo and City Line was also suspended due to the unavailability of control room staff.

Severe delays were also being reported on the Bakerloo and District lines.

As well as the Lioness line issues, there are also minor delays on the District, Bakerloo, Central, and Metropolitan lines.

The Met line is also suspended between Moor Park & Amersham, Chesham and Watford due to a signal failure.

There is a good service elsewhere.

Lioness line part suspended

There is no service between Kilburn High Road and Euston on the Lioness line while TfL fix a faulty train at South Hampstead.

There are severe delays on the rest of the line.

Storm Bram

A reminder that travel for much of the country will be affected by Storm Bram today, with a series of amber and yellow weather warnings in place.

If you are driving or getting a train out of the capital, do check your journey before you leave.

Central line update

Train cancellations have resulted in minor delays across the whole of the Central line.

There are still severe delays on the Bakerloo line.

Mildmay line update

The Mildmay line is still having serious issues following the loss of power to overhead electric wires earlier today.

There are severe delays on the whole line, with the disruption expected to last until around 10am.

No trains between West Ealing and Greenford

All lines are closed between West Ealing and Greenford due to a broken down train.

Trains will be cancelled, with disruption expected until 11am.

Tube update

There are severe delays on the Bakerloo, Metropolitan and Mildmay lines.

There are minor delays on the Central line, and a good service on the rest of the network - service on the Waterloo & City line has now resumed.

Metropolitan line update

There is now no service between Moor Park and Watford on the Metropolitan line while a signal failure is fixed.

There are also severe delays between Moor Park & Amersham and Chesham, and minor delays on the rest of the line.

Bakerloo line

There are severe delays on the whole of the Bakerloo line due to the late finish of engineering work.

Please check your journey for other routes - tickets are being accepted on London Buses, Lioness Line and Thameslink.

Lines blocked towards Euston

Damage to the overhead line equipment between London Euston and Watford Junction means some lines towards London Euston are blocked.

This is especially affecting all Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway to and from London Euston.

Trains may be cancelled or delayed, with the disruption expected to last until around 12pm.

Metropolitan line update

The Metropolitan line is suspended between Northwood & Watford and Rickmansworth while TfL fix a signal failure at Rickmansworth

There are also severe delays between Rickmansworth & Amersham and Chesham, and between Northwood and Aldgate.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

Waterloo & City line suspended

Tickets will be accepted on London Buses via reasonable routes.

Storm Bram causing chaos

Storm Bram has hit the UK, causing travel chaos across the country.

The Met Office have issued amber weather warnings for parts of south west England, the far north of Scotland and south Wales, and there are yellow weather warnings around the UK.

The worst of the weather is not affected to hit London - but roads and rail services are expected to be impacted, so please check your entire journey before you travel.
