London travel news LIVE: Four Tube lines hit with rush-hour delays

Commuters will face delays on several Tube lines at the height of rush hour on Friday morning.

There are delays across the entire Bakerloo, Central and Hammersmith and City lines.

Meanwhile, the District line is delayed between Parsons Green and Wimbledon due to a track fault.

Elsewhere, a fault on a train at Moorgate means services running from this station will face delays of up to 15 minutes until 11am.

Road closed in Stoke Newington following Clissold Park shooting

A road in Stoke Newington near Clissold Park is closed following a shooting which occurred at 7.06pm on Wednesday night.

The A105 Green Lanes has been closed both ways since last night between Queen’s Drive and Highbury New Park. A detour is in operation for bus routes 141, 341 and 393.

A man was killed and a woman was injured in the shooting which the Met Police are treating as an isolated incident.

Part of A12 in Essex closed due to traffic collision

A section of the A12 in Essex is closed following an earlier serious collision.

The road is closed northbound between junctions 15 for Margetting and 16 for Chelmsford.

Police officers are turning around traffic stuck within the closure, while diversion routes have been put in place as of 7.22am, according to the BBC.

The event is expected to clear by 1pm.

London Bridge signal failure disrupting Thameslink services

A fault with the signaling system at London Bridge means northbound Thameslink services are disrupted.

As a result, trains servicing busy stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Lanes closed on M25 due to broken down vehicle

The vehicle is expected to be cleared by 8.30am, while normal traffic conditions are expected by 9am.

Broken down train disrupting major London stations

A broken down train at Broadstairs is causing disruptions to major commuter stations in London including St Pancras, Cannon Street, Charing Cross and Victoria.

As a result, trains running between Margate and Ramsay may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or diverted.

Lanes have re-opened on the M25 anticlockwise between junctions 25 and 24 following an earlier closure due to a broken down vehicle.

Although the incident has cleared, there is still severe congestion on the road causing delays of up to 20 minutes.

Tube delay update

Police confirm collision on A12 occurred last night

Essex Police confirmed the “serious collision” which caused the closure of the A12 northbound between junctions 15 and 16 occurred at 11.30pm last night.

Two cars were reportedly involved in the collision.

Emergency services are working at the scene and roads policing officers closed the road and turned traffic as quickly as possible.

The force has advised drivers to avoid the area.

Major disruption between London Bridge and St Pancras until 12pm

Disruption between these stations is expected until 12pm.

Thameslink services via London Bridge are disrupted by a signaling fault on the northbound line.

Meanwhile, there is also a faulty train on the southbound line near City Thameslink.

All lines are closed as a person has been hit by a train between these stations.

National Rail has issued a travel warning after the Met Office announced a yellow weather warning for this weekend.

Heavy rainfall can disrupt travel by flooding tracks and slowing down trains, or cutting short-circuit power supplies which can cause signalling equipment to fail.

National Rail has advised checking services before you travel and allowing extra time for journeys on affected days.

Queensway station re-opened
