London Euston has issued an alert to passengers wanting to use the station.

In a post on X, rail bosses said the station was “extremely busy this evening because of multiple incidents on the West Coast Main Line.

Trespass incident on line from London Victoria and Brighton

Lines have now reopened following a trespass incident between Brighton and Worthing, National Rail said.

Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised until 7pm.

Routes affected include London Victoria and Littlehampton, and also between Brighton and Chichester, Portsmouth & Southsea and Southampton Central.

Emergency services are dealing with an incident between between Brighton and Worthing.

All lines are currently blocked and we're working to gather more information.

Replacement buses requested after train derails

National Rail says replacement buses have been requested to run between Bletchley and Northampton after the derailment in the Milton Keynes Central area.

Trains are now starting to leave from Euston Station after major distribution was caused by a derailed train between Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central.
