More than 50 culinary events, from one-off tasting menus to chef-led masterclasses, have been unveiled as part of this autumn’s London Restaurant Festival.

The festival, which is set to take place throughout the month of October at some of the capital’s top food spots, will bring together a series of ticketed gastronomic showcases.

Tasting menus only available as part of the festival will come from the likes of Sven-Hanson Britt at his Oxeye restaurant; Kian Samyani, who will cook up a Persian feast at Berenjak in Borough; and Jack Croft and William Murray, who will be dishing up food from their Fallow kitchen. Elsewhere, steak-focused menus will run at the likes of Galvin Bistrot and Bar, Temper and Ibérica, while autumnal flavours will dominate the specially curated dishes at Chisou, Arros QD, Kricket and others.

Michelin-starred chef Nieves Barragan of Sabor restaurant will lead a Spanish cookery masterclass, pairing food and beer, while a Gordon Ramsay-approved sommelier will lead a blind wine tasting session at Heddon Street Kitchen.

Restaurant-hopping tours will take attendees on a foodie journey around Belgravia, Chelsea Covent Garden, stopping off at restaurants such as The Cadogan Arms and Fatt Pundit, and pairing dishes with wine, beer or gin.

The so-called Binge events will take guests on a trip to the Electric Cinema in White City for dinner and a movie, or to one of the area’s restaurants, followed by the chance to watch a BBC television show as it’s being filmed live.

The Ultimate Gastronomic Weekends will offer two days of luxury, with cocktail masterclasses, one-off menus and hotel stays — hosted by the likes of celebrity chefs Vivek Singh and Anna Haugh — all in one package.

Meanwhile, the Resy Hit List — collection of specially curated festival dishes and set menus curated by the booking platform Resy — will run as part of the festival, booked through the Resy website and app.

A number of experiences, from chef-hosted new openings to meals with leading restaurant critics, are only available to American Express members. For more information on those, head here.
