July 29--There are some years when the Lollapalooza after parties taking place around town are better than the actual three-day festival in Grant Park. The parties allow you to see Lolla acts perform in a smaller, more intimate setting rather than in a massive field. There are also non Lolla acts performing at these events, which is good news for those disappointed with that year's lineup.
Will this be one of those years?
We'll know in a few weeks. Check out the list of Lolla parties below that have been officially announced (personally, I'd rather see Bleachers at the Hard Rock Hotel than any of the acts performing at Lolla). I'll continue to update this list as more parties are announced.
