The first balance preview for League of Legends Patch 26.14 is finally here, shifting power toward a handful of underperforming champions while nerfing some of the strong champions from the last patch.
Corki and Mordekaiser lead the buffs, while Garen, Locke, Senna, and Seraphine are all receiving nerfs. The patch also includes several item adjustments, including nerfs to Hextech Rocketbelt, Jack of All Trades, and Protoplasm Harness, among others. Here’s everything that is coming with League’s patch 26.14 update.
When does LoL Patch 26.14 release?
League updates are usually released on Wednesdays. These updates are pushed on the PBE servers with new adjustments before making their way to the live servers. This patch for this year is scheduled for July 15, 2026. While the official release times across all regions are different, here are the usual timings for the update:
- 3pm CT (NA)
- 5am GMT (EU West)
- 3am CET (EU North East)
- 8am KR (Korea)
What’s in LoL Patch 26.14?
Patch 26.14 focuses on follow-up balance adjustments after the final MSI patch, as the tournament comes to a close. The developer is buffing several champions that have struggled to find their footing, particularly Corki, Mordekaiser, and Yunara, while reigning in dominant picks like Garen and newly released Locke.
Senna is also receiving another round of nerfs after remaining one of the strongest marksmen despite last patch’s changes. Outside of champion balance, several popular AP and sustain options are being toned down, while Blue Buff is getting a quality-of-life improvement.
Beyond the balance changes, Patch 26.14 marks the arrival of the highly anticipated T1 Worlds 2025 Champion skin collection and the Victorious Rengar skin.
Champion Buffs
The following champions are receiving buffs in LoL Patch 26.14.
Azir
Riot is fixing several bugs affecting Azir in this patch.
Corki
Corki is getting more consistent scaling through higher AD growth and a stronger passive that comes up more frequently.
- AD Growth increased from 2 to 2.5.
[R] Missile Barrage (Passive Interaction)
Passive cooldown reduction on auto attacks increased from 2-4 seconds to 2-6 seconds.
Mordekaiser
Mordekaiser gains more damage and becomes even stronger after winning Death Realm duels.
[R] Realm of Death
Stat steal increased from 10 percent to 13 percent.
[E] Death’s Grasp
Damage increased from 60-120 (+40 percent AP) to 60-140 (+45 percent AP).
Nami
Riot is giving Nami more lane presence by increasing the damage on Tidecaller’s Blessing to increase her poke on the enemies.
[E] Tidecaller’s Blessing
Damage per hit increased from 20-60 (60-180 total) to 20/35/50/65/80 (60-240 total).
Yunara
Yunara receives a straightforward scaling buff.
- AD Growth increased from 2.5 to 3.
Champion Nerfs
The following champions are receiving nerfs in LoL Patch 26.14.
Garen
Riot is reducing Garen’s execute potential by lowering Demacian Justice’s base true damage.
[R] Demacian Justice
True damage reduced from 150/250/350 (+25/30/35% target’s missing health) to 125/200/275 (missing health ratio unchanged).
Jayce
Jayce loses some mobility after changing forms while also taking a hit to his melee durability.
[Passive] Hextech Capacitor
Movement speed after form change is reduced from 40 for 0.75 seconds to 30.
[R] Mercury Cannon/Mercury Hammer
Hammer resistances reduced from 5/15/25/35 (+7.5 percent bonus AD) to 5/15/19/26 (+7.5 percent bonus AD).
Locke
Riot is pulling power out of Locke’s damage and durability following his release.
[Q] Ritual Nails
- Nail damage reduced from 50-90 to 50-82.
- Stack base bonus damage reduced from 20-60 to 18-50.
- Nail recast hold time reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds.
[W] Soul Ignition
Base Grey Health cap reduced from 40-200 to 40-160.
Senna
Senna receives another round of nerfs targeting both her damage and utility.
Critical Strike
Damage modifier reduced from -15 percent to -20 percent.
[Q] Piercing Darkness
- AP slow reduced from 10 percent per 100 AP to 7 percent per 100 AP.
- AP healing ratio reduced from +50 percent AP to +35 percent AP.
Seraphine
Seraphine’s poke damage is taking a small hit.
[Q] High Note
AP ratio reduced from 50 percent to 40 percent.
System Buffs
Blue Buff
Blue Buff now scales its Ability Haste as the game progresses.
Ability Haste changed from 10 at all stages to 10/15/20 based on level.
System Nerfs
Hextech Rocketbelt
Rocketbelt is becoming tankier but less burst-oriented with a slower active.
Build Path
Alternator + Codex + Tome + 300 gold to Alternator + Kindlegem + Ruby Crystal + 350 gold.
- AP reduced from 70 to 60.
- Health increased from 300 to 350.
- Cooldown increased from 40 to 50 seconds.
Immortal Path (Gluttonous Greaves Mid Quest Upgrade)
The mid lane quest upgrade loses some of its offensive and sustain power.
- Damage increase reduced from 5 percent to 4 percent.
- Increased Healing, shielding, and regeneration reduced from 15 percent to 12 percent.
Jack of All Trades
The rune is losing some adaptive force at both major breakpoints.
- Adaptive Force at five and 10 Jack stacks reduced from 10/25 to 6/20.
Protoplasm Harness
Protoplasm Harness becomes more expensive while losing some early durability.
- Cost increased from 2,500 to 2,600 gold.
- Bonus Health changed from 200-300 to 100-300.
- Healing changed from 200-400 to 100-400.
