Logan Paul returns to YouTube after suicide video 'Crucify me, vilify me, I'm not going anywhere'

Logan Paul's brief respite from YouTube is over.

The controversial social media star returned with a new video Sunday, barely a month after he posted a New Year's Eve video with a suicide victim in Japan's Aokigahara forest.

In a 12-minute video, Paul first appears as a bearded, shirtless man on the beach.

"The maverick Logan Paul, showing his face for the first time after the disgraced YouTuber has been spotted across the country, hiding his face from paparazzi and seen swallowing his tears on social media like a little baby," a narrator says.

"Yo, hold up," the 22-year-old YouTube star responds. "'Disgraced?' What you mean 'disgraced,' boy? I took a break. Besides, I'm still lit as f _ k. What other YouTuber can take a three-week break and still get a million subscribers?"

YouTube cut ties with Paul, who recently pledged $1 million to suicide prevention groups.

"It's been tough because ironically I'm being told to commit suicide myself ... Millions of people literally telling me they hate me, to go die in a fire. The most horrible, horrific things," he said on "Good Morning America" last week.

In his new video, Paul said he has come back "more knowledgeable, more compassionate."

"I know for a fact everything I do from this point on will get criticism, it will get backlash, because I'm a very polarizing dude. You either love me, or you hate me," he said.

"So internet, please, use me, bro. Crucify me, vilify me, and I can promise you one thing, guys _ I'm not going anywhere."
