We've all had our fair share of baking and cooking fails, regardless of whether we're complete beginners or dedicated Bake Off hopefuls
But since the start of the coronavirus lockdown, the number of fails has only increased as Brits use the extra time to work on their culinary skills.
While some have impressed themselves by cooking up some tasty treats, others haven't been quite so successful.
Luckily, these amateur chefs have shared their fails for the world to see - and they've given us a real giggle.
One woman attempted to make a banana cake, but it was a sight for sore eyes.
Twitter user Hend Amry wrote: "I've just made, what might possibly be, the world's most failed banana bread.
"If I had feral goats living in my backyard, I would hesitate to feed it to them."
She then attached another photo of the inside of the cake, which was raw, and joked: "I will not be taking any questions at this time. Thank you for respecting my privacy."
She went on to say it actually looks better than it tastes, adding: "Imagine wet play dough but banana flavored and inexplicably sour".
A woman replied, sharing a picture of her bread baking attempt.
She wrote: "I see your banana fail and raise you my normal bread fail."
Another person shared a video of their attempt at Yorkshire puddings, but they didn't exactly look like the fluffy puddings that we're used too. In fact, they were rock hard - probably because they forgot to add the eggs.
They even dropped the creation on the floor to demonstrate - the loud bang said it all.
One user wrote: "This was supposed to be a nice, neat, braided circle of chocolate, caramel, and banana filled chocolate yeast bread, but the strands all burst and it ended up looking like a pan of Sasquatch feces. Tasted ok, though."
Another wannabe baker shared a picture of his attempt, and an attempt it was.
He had tried to make bunny shaped cookies it seems, but the icing made them look like slightlyterrifying.
Leslie Horton shared a picture of her 'Lemon flavoured hockey puck' and said: "Apparently it's NOT a good idea to stick it back in the oven after it's cooled to re-bake the raw centre.
Before reminding followers that: "Pink sea salt is NOT table salt...FYI".
There's still time to be the next Mary Berry, if we all remember to add all of the when baking.
Better luck next time.
