Lock Upp: Anjali Arora's mother suggests she should maintain distance from Munawar Faruqui; delivers a message from her boyfriend

The first season of Lock Upp is crawling towards its end. Almost 10 days ahead of the finale, the show witnessed a family week that turned out to be a refreshing moment for not only the 'qaidis' but the audience as well. The first family member to enter the jail was Anjali Arora’s mother, who left everyone in a daze with her suggestions, mockery and statements.

Anjali got extremely emotional when she saw her mother standing to meet her. After having an emotional reunion, her mother shared a few pieces of advice with her. Soon after meeting, Anjali asked her mother if everybody is doing fine back at home. While her mom answered this, she took her boyfriend’s name and asked how he is doing. “Akash kaisa hai?” asked Anjali and her mother replied, “Miss kar raha hai.” After a little more conversation, her mother once again told her that Akash has told her to give his message “I miss you” to her.

Anjali, who was delighted to hear this, sat with her mom to discuss her game and more. While conversing with her, she asked if everything she has been doing is looking fine on screen. Anjali’s mother then suggested that she should play an individual game and not trust anybody. “Koi saath nahi de raha,” said her mom. On listening this Anjali took Munawar Faruqui’s name and her mother replied, “Sab munh pe hai koi sath nhi de raha. Aankhein khol, dimaag khol.”

Later ahead while talking, Anjali’s mother told her to maintain a distance from Munawar. “Munawar se doori banake rakh, sari teri voting usko ja rhi h dosti ke usse,” she said. Moreover, she was also seen telling her that edited videos of her saying ‘I love you’ to Munawar have also been circulating outside.

While Anjali’s mom told her to not get too close to Munawar, she was later seen sympathising with him and saying, “Aapki maa nahi hai, mai hoon aapke liye.”
