Local Elections 2022: All the candidates you can vote for in St Helens

This year's local elections could see a huge night of change in St Helens.

Unlike previous years, 2022's elections will see a switch to whole council elections- as well as a boundary change creating two new wards within the St Helens borough. For the first time elections will be held for all 48 seats on the council at the same time – and every four years afterwards – meaning voters will elect all councillors for their ward at once, rather than in thirds as before.

The ECHO has compiled a list of all candidates standing in every ward across the borough.
