Livingston loan star Caleb Chukwuemeka keen to make most of opportunity in Scotland as Lions return from winter break

Livingston are back from their winter break tonight when they host Dundee in a crucial Premiership clash.

The Lions currently occupy eighth spot in the table but sit just fourth points above their 11th placed visitors.

The Lions could hand three debuts this evening with striker Joel Nouble having been recalled from his hugely successful loan stint at Arbroath, while defender Morgan Boyes and forward Caleb Chukwuemeka could feature.

The 19-year-old signed on loan from Aston Villa for the remainder of the season and speaking to the media yesterday, admitted he was looking forward to Scottish football - after having attracted interest from Rangers in the summer.

He commented: “I remember my agent saying to me that Rangers were interested in me in the summer.

“It was a crazy coincidence that Steven Gerrard came to Villa as the manager. You can only learn from a guy like him and I was excited when he came to Villa.

“Now I need to show him what I can do here and hopefully get my chance there next season.”

He added: “This loan can only help me. I think it’s great for young players to play in front of 50,000 or 60,000 people and you can only learn from that.

“That will help me prepare for the future if I want to play in the Premier League.”
