Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly named in Steve Clarke's first Scotland squad

Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly has been named in the first Scotland squad under new manager Steve Clarke.

The former Kilmarnock boss will lead his team for the first time on June 8 at home to Cyprus before tackling Belgium away from home three days later. Both games are Euro 2020 qualifiers and the Scots are already up against it having suffered a 3-0 loss to Kazakhstan in their opening fixture.

The 23-year-old Kelly is one of four goalkeepers selected, alongside Celtic's Scott Bain, David Marshall of English Championship side Hull City and Sunderland's Jon McLaughlin.

It is a second national team nod for Kelly, who kept 14 clean sheets during his maiden SPFL Premiership campaign as the Lions finished ninth.

Also named in the squad is former Livingston striker Marc McNulty, currently on loan at Hibs from Reading.
