Livingston announce signing of former Arsenal and Bristol City striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas

Livingston have signed former Arsenal and Bristol City striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on a one-year deal.

The Lions announced the new arrival this afternoon with the Londoner set to wear the number nine jersey for the club.

Emmanuel-Thomas featured five times for the Arsenal first team but enjoyed his best spell while in League One with Bristol City between 2013 and 2015 where he notched 33 goals prior to a move to Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The 29-year-old's last club was PTT Rayong in Thailand but he will now play in Scotland for the first time in his career.

Livingston have the option to extend the striker’s deal by a further season.
