Liverpool is set to see a warm and breezy day on the last day of the summer holidays.
The Met Office has predicted that Liverpool will start the day fairly overcast with a south-easterly wind, feeling slightly cooler than the 18C temperature. The region will see sunny spells and rain around lunchtime, with temperatures creeping up throughout the day as the wind dies down.
As the wind and rain begins to stop more sun will appear, with the temperatures expected to reach as high as 24C by 4pm, although it will feel slightly cooler at around 22C. As the south-easterly winds pick up the temperatures will drop again heading into the evening, with clouds creeping in.

Sunny spells will greet people waking up to the new week before the cloud completely clears around midday and temperatures reach 23C.
