Nat Phillips could be on his way out of Liverpool in the January transfer window with West Ham United tipped as a potential destination.
The 24-year-old Bolton-born defender came through the youth ranks at Bolton Wanderers but left in the summer of 2016 having not made a first team appearance for the club.
He later joined the Anfield club's youth set up and began to train with the first team in 2018.

He burst onto the scene with the Liverpool first team in earnest last season, making 20 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side last season amid a central defensive injury crisis.
But this season, Phillips has made just four appearances for the Reds, one of which came against Wanderers in the Papa John's Trophy group stage where he captained Liverpool to a 4-1 loss.
Phillips has a contract at Liverpool until the summer of 2025, but it appears he is poised to move on to pastures new.
According to the Sun, Liverpool will let Phillips leave in the January transfer window but only on a permanent basis.
A loan move is not on the cards, but the Anfield side will only allow Phillips to leave for a deal which reaches £10m.
West Ham are tipped as being interested in the player and could turn to signing Phillips as other targets, such as Burnley's James Tarkowski, could be out of reach next month owing to cost.
