Liverpool's hopes of beating Barcelona in a star-studded legends match at Anfield next weekend have been given a boost with a significant addition to their management team.
Kop hero Ian Rush has been confirmed for the showpiece fixture and will be in the dug-out alongside former strike partner Sir Kenny Dalglish.
A host of old Anfield favourites have already been confirmed for the match, including the likes of Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger, Luis Garcia, Steve McManaman, Durk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez.

Barcelona can call on a comparable wealth of stars for the charity match, including Edmilson, Gaizka Mendieta and Javier Saviola, with more to be confirmed.
The match will be raising funds to support a wide variety of projects run by the LFC Foundation, alongside local charities including Zoe's Place, The Owen McVeigh Foundation, Liverpool Homeless FC and the Whitechapel Centre.
The club has also confirmed that the former players association, Forever Reds, and the Barca Foundation will also receive a share of the proceeds.
The match takes place at Anfield on Saturday, March 26, kicking off at 3pm.
