Liverpool starting line-up for West Ham as Jurgen Klopp makes one change

Andy Robertson has been recalled to the starting line-up for Liverpool’s Premier League clash at West Ham United this afternoon.

The return of Robertson at left-back in place of Kostas Tsimikas is the only change from the 2-0 Champions League win over Atletico Madrid in midweek.

It means Jurgen Klopp has stuck with Joel Matip alongside Virgil van Dijk at centre-back, with Alisson Becker in goal and Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.

The midfield remains unaltered with Jordan Henderson making his 300th league appearance for Liverpool.

Fabinho is in the XI while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain makes a second successive start for the first time in 16 months.

Up front, Diogo Jota leads the line with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane on the flanks.

Thiago Alcantara is among the substitutes, along with teenage midfielder Tyler Morton.

If Liverpool avoid defeat they will set a club record of 26 games without defeat in all competitions. Victory will move them a point behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.

LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Jota, Mane.

SUBS: Kelleher, Konate, Thiago, Minamino, Tsimikas, Origi, Phillips, Williams, Morton.

WEST HAM: Fabianksi; Johnson, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Benrahma, Fornals; Antonio.
