Liverpool starlet Bobby Duncan missing from squad as transfer links continue

Liverpool youngster Bobby Duncan has been left out of tonight's Premier League 2 clash away to Southampton.

Reports have claimed in recent weeks that Fiorentina and FC Nordsjælland have made bids for the 18-year-old who scored 25 goals for the U18 development squad last season.

Duncan, who is the cousin of former Reds skipper and legend Steven Gerrard, arrived at Anfield last summer from Manchester City and scored a crucial late equaliser against his former club in the FA Youth Cup final, which Liverpool went on to win won on penalties.

He featured in a number of the Reds' pre-season games this summer, scoring in the win over Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.

Ki-Jana Hoever, Sepp van den Berg, Yasser Larouci and Rhian Brewster have all been named in the starting line-up for tonight's game - you can follow live updates from it here.
