Liverpool pub staging 'fireworks bonanza' this Bonfire Night with live music, outdoor bars and more

Popular Woolton pub The Elephant is hosting a "fireworks extravaganza" this Saturday to celebrate Bonfire Night.

Bonfire Night firework displays are a beloved tradition, with many families looking to the sky to watch the explosive, multicoloured patterns erupt throughout the evening. In Liverpool, the city's waterfront firework display will not go ahead this year, with many people turning to local venues to get their firework fix instead.

A number of Bonfire Night events are set to take place in Wirral, Ormskirk, Southport, Newton-le-Willows and Chester, all within an hour's drive of Liverpool, with those looking for something a little closer in luck with The Elephant.

The pub and bakehouse, based on Woolton Road, is known and loved for its community feel, extensive food menu and array of drinks. Now, it's hosting a "bonfire bonanza", with "plenty to do for the entire family".

Taking place this Saturday, November 5 from 4pm, there'll be live music to entertain guests, as well as outdoor bars and plenty of craft beer up for grabs. There’ll also be a selection of hot food and alcohol infused hot chocolates, before the firework display takes centre stage.
