Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has a cracking new nickname for Gary Neville after Champions League final win

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has wasted no time in calling out Gary Neville - and coined a cracking new nickname for the former Manchester United defender.

Carragher watched the Reds claim their sixth European Cup with a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night, with goals in either half from Mo Salah and Divock Origi.

And Carragher , who has exchanged numerous Tweets with his Sky TV co-analyst throughout the season, was quick to remind Neville of a Tweet he posted last year.

In a post aimed at the former defender following the Reds' defeat to Real Madrid in last season's final, Neville wrote his own version to the club's Allez Allez Allez song.

But just over a year on, Carragher was quick to ask what the 44-year-old has lined up for this year.

He posted: "Anything promised for this year Wordsworth??!!! @GNev2"

The Tweet is the latest in a series the Reds great has posted since his former side were crowned European champions.
