Liverpool 'interested' in Bundesliga star who has already made stance on Reds clear

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt's versatile attacker, Jesper Lindstrom.

The 22-year-old, who is capable of playing in an attacking midfield role or as part of the forward line, has made a positive impression in the Bundesliga since leaving his home country of Denmark in 2021 for the German top-flight.

Lindstrom has scored eight goals and registered two assists for his club this season and also featured at the World Cup in Qatar, marking another impressive step on his rise within the game.

Such is the impression the youngster has made, Danish publication Tipsbladet has stated Liverpool are 'interested' in Lindstrom but are set to face competition for his services from Serie A leaders Napoli. The above report claims no negotiations are currently underway between the player's representatives and any clubs, though there is a strong chance he would choose Liverpool should the Reds lodge an offer.

Lindstrom has previously admitted he has aspirations of representing Jurgen Klopp's side, having grown up supporting the club. Speaking to TV 2 program 'Førstevælger', he shared: "I've always said that I'm a Liverpool fan, so it could be really cool to play for Liverpool at some point."
