Liverpool hating football fan tweets about Divock Origi - instantly regrets it

Divock Origi seems to have a habit of scoring dramatic late goals.

The Belgian found the winner against Everton at Anfield earlier this season in the 96th minute and then on Saturday night scored Liverpool's third at Newcastle to secure all three points for the Reds .

Both of those goals have come at moments in games where Jurgen Klopp's side looked to be sharing the points with their opponents but clearly the striker has other ideas.

Without doubt the six points those two goals have earned are invaluable to Liverpool and have kept Kopites' dreams of winning the Premier League alive with just one game to go.

When the game was finely poised at 2-2 at St James' Park and Origi jogged onto the field in the 73rd-minute to replace the injured Mohamed Salah one Twitter user, who appears desperate for the Reds not to win the domestic title, couldn't help but post a message to poke fun at the current league leaders.

They wrote: "Imagine going for a Premier League title and your best solution to looking for a winner is Divock Origi hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha"

Of course we all know exactly what happened next to make the travelling Kop erupt.

And it appears the football world on Twitter did too with scores of responses to the tweet letting user know.

How the stunned national media reported on Liverpool's dramatic late win over Newcastle

The Twitter user himself then replied to his own original tweet with: "Why don’t I just keep my f******g mouth shut."

That win in the North East saw Liverpool go two points clear at the top of the Premier League ahead of Manchester City with just one game left in their season, while the defending champions have two to play and whatever happens the title will be decided on the final day.
