Liverpool handed triple injury boost ahead of Arsenal in Premier League

Liverpool have been handed a major injury boost ahead of Saturday's Premier League showdown against Arsenal with three key players back in training.

Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and James Milner were all spotted being put through their paces at Kirkby on Tuesday ahead of the weekend visit of the Gunners.

Henderson was training separately having been released from the England squad over the weekend after suffering a minor issue following the 5-0 World Cup qualifying win over Albania at Wembley last Friday, a game in which the Reds skipper scored and provided an assist.

Milner was also working alone on the pitch as he steps up his rehabilitation from a hamstring problem that has ruled him out of Liverpool's last four games.

And Mane was able to take full part in the session having returned early from international duty with Senegal after being forced off after just 28 minutes of their match against Togo on Thursday with a rib injury.

There was, though, no sign of the hamstrung Naby Keita or calf injury victim Joe Gomez, while Curtis Jones, who was pictured in the gym earlier this week, was also not involved as he recovers from an eye problem sustained earlier this month.

And Liverpool are waiting on news regarding the fitness of Andy Robertson, who was forced off towards the end of Scotland's 2-0 win over Denmark on Monday with what appeared a hamstring issue.
