Liverpool fans will love what Eden Hazard had to say about Virgil van Dijk

Eden Hazard might not be scared of any other footballer - but Virgil van Dijk clearly left a lasting impression on the former Chelsea man.

Hazard left Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid in a deal that could rise to £130m earlier this summer, bringing to an end his seven years at the London club.

The Belgian attacker scored 21 goals in his final season with Chelsea, 16 of those in the Premier League, but it was a clash with Liverpool 's star defender that he highlighted from his final year in England.

Speaking about his memories of the Premier League in an interview with Youtuber Jay Shetty , Hazard revealed what it's really like to play against Van Dijk.

Asked what player he's scared of, Hazard said: "No-one. No-one. But to be fair, in the Premier League we have a lot of good defenders, especially this season Van Dijk was on fire.

"That's why he got PFA Player of the Year.

"He's really good. He's strong. I remember we played Liverpool away and I was striker, and I tried to jump against him but fell. No chance."
