Liverpool fans raving over stunning black and gold Nike concept kit

We are now at the point in the year where football fans are usually looking forward to ditching the thermals, watching their teams play out their final few matches of the season in the sunshine and looking ahead to the new kits being released for the following season.

Instead, supporters of clubs up and down the country, including Liverpool fans, are patiently waiting to see when the season may return, with the coronavirus pandemic continuing to take hold.

For Liverpool fans it is proving to be a very nervous and stressful wait, with the small matter of securing a first-ever Premier League title riding on whether or not the season is allowed to resume.

But whilst Liverpool fans may be suffering from the disappointment of not getting to see their heroes move closer and closer to a first league title in 30 years, their spirits have been raised by a Nike concept kit that has been meandering its way across social media.

The kit, which has been designed by @TDZNGraphics on Twitter, presents a black strip with a gold trim, with it having been mounted onto the body of Reds star Mohamed Salah.

The sharing of this concept kit on Twitter has sent Reds fans into overdrive, with it being on the receiving end of plenty of plaudits.

Sharing their verdict on the concept design, the Anfield Watch website said: "The combination of black and gold works very well, as we have seen this season. New Balance's 2019/20 Liverpool home goalkeeper kit was black and gold, and it does look somewhat similar to the concept kit created by @TDZNGraphics.

"The only negative aspect regarding the kit is the pattern that is running through it. If the kit were to be black and gold without the pattern, I believe it would look much better.

"I have always been a fan of the kits that are simple, and by removing the pattern, the kit would look much cleaner.

"Hopefully Nike produce something as classy as this kit for the 2020-21 season."
