Liverpool drug dealer found with crack and heroin in stop check

A Liverpool drug dealer was found with heroin and crack cocaine when he was pulled over in a police spot check in a tiny Cheshire village.

Anthony Campbell, 33, from Allerton was pulled over by police as he made his way through rural Bartington - around four miles from Northwich.

After stopping the car he was in, officers searched the vehicle.

They found both heroin and crack cocaine stashed inside during the stop check on Thursday, March 4.

Campbell of Heydean Road was arrested and subsequently charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

And Cheshire Police have confirmed Campbell pleaded guilty to the offences when he appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 5.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "The 33-year-old was remanded in custody and appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Friday 5 March where he pleaded guilty to the offences.

"He will appear in court at a later date for sentencing."

The spokesperson added: ""The charges relate to stop check on a vehicle in Bartington at around 12pm on Thursday 4 March where heroin and crack cocaine were found."
