Liverpool celebrities' children dress up for World Book Day

Danielle Lloyd shared an adorable snap of her three boys dressed up for World Book Day .

The Liverpool model went to some effort dressing her children Archie, Harry and George for the occasion.

They picked to go as Dennis the Menace, Where's Wally and Willy Wonka.

The former beauty queen wasn’t the only Merseyside celebrity to post pictures of their kids on Thursday.

Johnny Vegas’s son - who is a dead ringer for his St Helens comedian dad - dressed up as the character from the book Dark Lord The Teenage Year.

Johnny, who also has another son Tom, took to Twitter to share his handywork.

He wrote: “It all got a bit Blue Peter here last night in preparation for #WorldBookDay #PapierMâchéAndStickyBackPastic.”

The star - who named his eldest son from a previous relationship Michael Pennington Jr after himself, posted pictures of his boy and wished everyone a happy World Book Day.

He wrote: “Have a great #WorldBookDay everyone! Thanks for the inspiration @JamieTgamebooks We love your #DarkLord stories.”

Everton ’s Kevin Mirallas was also another proud dad who uploaded a picture of his son, Juan.

The footballer posted an image of the youngster posing with his favourite book, The good dinosaur.

Jamie Carragher used the day as a chance to reminisce and shared a throwback Thursday snap of his lad as one of the Oompa-Loompas in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Children from across Merseyside dressed up as their favourite characters to celebrate the 19th World Book Day.
