Remind me, again, what exactly are the days of the week? Well, there's Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and.... Apprentice day!
That's right, folks. Anna Pickard will be here from 9pm tonight, live blogging everyone's favourite business reality show, The Apprentice on BBC1. And if I was a betting man - and I am - she'll most likely carry on blogging The Apprentice - You're Fired!, which follows on BBC2 at 10pm.
To get you in the mood, here is a shockingly dated TV ad for an Amstrad fax from 1991. Frankly, it looks at least a decade older to me. £699? Plus Vat? No wonder he's worth £800 million. Still, it IS Mercury compatible.
And here's another ad - what is this, Carrott's Commercial Breakdown or something? - from 1985, for the fondly remembered Amstrad home studio. It's a stereo. And a studio! And to think Sir Alan had the cheek to have a pop at the contestants' efforts at a TV ad in the last series.
Anyway, moving on. Here's what Anna and the live blog gang got up to last Wednesday. Tonight's episode may or may not have something to do with gastropubs.
