After heavy winds meant that the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was reduced to a 54-hole contest, Robert MacIntyre emerged the winner, with a final round of 66 ensuring he finished on 18 under to lift the trophy at the Old Course, St Andrews.
That meant that, unlike last year when Tyrrell Hatton won the event, it wasn't a LIV Golfer who triumphed, but a man who plies his trade on the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour.
Nevertheless, there were 16 players from the circuit in the field. Here's how they got on.
While Hatton wasn't able to successfully defend his title, he came as close as anyone to catching MacIntyre.
The Legion XIII player produced a brilliant third round of 65, but while it saw him leap 20 places on the leaderboard on the final day, he had to settle for runner-up, four shots back of the winner.
After the second round, Stinger GC captain Louis Oosthuizen was the best-placed LIV Golfer, in third, but he couldn't sustain his momentum in the final round, with a 72 ensuring he placed tied for 11th on 11 under.
Two LIV Golfers, Tom McKibbin and Brooks Koepka, tied for 15th, finishing eight shots back of MacIntyre on 10 under.
Further down the leaderboard, Caleb Surratt and Patrick Reed placed T32 on eight under, with Bubba Watson and Matt Jones finishing T40th on seven under.
It was a more disappointing week for Major winners Cameron Smith and Dustin Johnson, who finished T71 on four under along with another LIV Golfer, Thomas Pieters.
The LIV Golfer who finished furthest down the leaderboard was Brendan Steele, whose final round of 75 ensured he placed 159th on nine over to complete a miserable week for the American.
