As one third of iconic girlband Little Mix, Jade Thirlwall knows a thing or two about racy outfits - but her latest look is a real eye-popper.
Last night the 29-year-old posed in one-sleeved lilac jumpsuit which exposed one breast - adorned with a matching nipple pasty - and hid her usual dark tresses beneath a matching wig.
She chose the daring look, famously worn by rapper Lil Kim at the 1999 MTV VMA Awards, for her annual early birthday bash.
Along with three brilliant photos, she told fans on Instagram : "It’s that time of year where I force my friends to do fancy dress to celebrate my (early) birthday in the hopes of overshadowing Santa honouring an icon…I’m the L-I-L to the K-I-M. Disagree? Well that’s you and I’m sorry."
Her 9.7m followers were thrilled, with her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock commenting, "KILLEDDDD IT."
Lil Kim isn't the first musical icon honoured by Jade, and in 2020 she pulled off an incredible Whitney Houston costume. She transformed herself in to the Queen Of The Night with a silver bodice, fringed skirt and headpiece.
The year prior she was Diana Ross, with former band mate Jesy Nelson partying alongside her as Geri Halliwell.
Jade also shared some behind the scenes footage of herself getting ready - and most importantly, her big entrance. She strutted in to a bar to the delight of her mates - one who was dressed as Baby Spice in the Say You'll Be There video, complete with electric blue gloves.
In the clip, Jade can be seen jiggling her exposed boob, similarly to how Diana Ross gave Kim's boob a poke when they presented an award at the 1999 bash - regarded by many as a moment in hip hop history.
In 2002 Kim reminisced about the impromptu grope. She said: "A lot of people ask how did you feel, but honestly I think she was just giving me a little motherly tap. Like, 'girl, do you know you have a boob hanging out?' But, she was real nice."
Lil Kim's original look was created by stylist Misa Hylton, who told PopSugar that she "wanted to make something really ornate and feminine and pretty, to offset the fact that she had one breast out." The look was completed with matching Steve Madden heels.
