Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell got married
(Picture: Lily Collins)Actress Lily Collins has married filmmaker Charlie McDowell in a “magical” ceremony.
The Emily in Paris star shared a series of photos from the day with her 23.5million Instagram followers.
The 32-year-old wore a floor-length white lace gown and veil to the ceremony which took place in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado on September 4.
Collins, who is the daughter of musician Phil Collins and his ex-wife Jill Tavelman, captioned one photo of her and McDowell “never been happier”.
The actress posted: “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever.”
She added: “What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was but magical is a pretty good place to start.”
Oscar winner Reece Witherspoon, Friends actress Courtney Cox and Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova were among those who congratulated the couple.
Collins was born in Guildford, Surrey. She moved to the US as a child following her parents' divorce.
Having made a name for herself in the spotlight, Collins is most famous for playing American abroad in Emily In Paris.
The actress has also starred in films including Love, Rosie, Mirror Mirror and Abduction.
McDowell is most well known for directing The One I Love, starring Elisabeth Moss.
