A lightning strike has injured 18 people sheltering under a tree in the Czech Republic.
The strike in Sunday hit the Liberec-Vratislavice castle park about 55 miles north-east of the capital Prague.
Firefighters were scrambled to the scene alongside police and other emergency services.
Children were among those taken to hospital and that the park was hosting an event to mark International Children's Day, Czech media said.
TV station CT 24 reported that five of those injured were children aged between two and 16. Meanwhile five adults were treated at the scene.
Vaclav Ricar, a spokesperson for the Liberec regional hospital told local newspaper Liberecky Denik that it had received 17 patients who were all conscious.
He also revealed that one child was airlifted to a hospital in Prague.
The Czech Republic was lashed with heavy rain and battered by storms over the weekend.
Parts of the country were also hit by flooding.
Experts advise people to steer clear of trees and fences during a thunderstorm.
The advice is to crouch down immediately and place your hands on your knees with your head between them.
