Oasis legend Liam Gallagher's x-rated rant at Kaiser Chiefs

As soon as Kaiser Chiefs keyboardist Nick 'Peanut' Baines called out Liam Gallagher over his no-show at a Romanian festival, we have all been waiting for the former Oasis man's response.

Gallagher tweeted to say that he would not appear at the Fall in Love Festival on Sunday September 1 after being 'advised not to perform' due to safety issues with the stage.

The Kaiser Chiefs, known to many as famous Leeds United fans, played their set directly before Gallagher was due on, and 'Peanut' couldn't help but throw a dig at Gallagher.

On Twitter, he said: "If we found out a stage wasn’t safe, we’d tell the other bands on there too, right? ‘Safety comes first as always’ - for everyone. We must’ve broken it by putting on a rock n roll show 30mins before you #fallinlovefest."

Gallagher isn't shy of giving his opinion on Twitter - he has regularly upped the ante in his spat with brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher by calling him 'potato', among other insults.

It was only a matter of time before he responded to Baines' tweet, and he has not disappointed, slamming the Leeds man with a foul-mouthed rant.

Speaking on Twitter, he said: "This 1s for PISSFLAP out of the KAISER CHEIFS all that money you spend on props ie your daft looking head I’d spend on getting yourself a decent tour manager who spots these kind of things otherwise you and your band will be going for a early bath LG x"

In a separate post, he added: "Ps it’s naff c***s like you that give Leeds a bad name as you were LG x"

As we said, he certainly doesn't hold back on Twitter..

Gallagher has been a mainstay in the media for decades and loves a Twitter spat more than anyone, so will 'Peanut' think it worth it to keep this feud going? Only time will tell.
