Liam Gallagher has revealed the Oasis reunion tour “saved his life”.
The rocker, 53, and his brother Noel, 58, recently took their Live ‘25 comeback tour to Australia after kicking off the shows in the UK earlier this year.
The Britpop legends were reportedly put on strict doctors’ orders before the tour started, with Liam vowing to quit drinking to stay healthy on the road.
A fan told the Oasis frontman on X: “You've done a great job staying healthy for the gigs Liam. I'm sorry you have to live like a monk during the tour but damn you're killing it!”
Liam replied: “Oasis saved my life. It's about time I sorted my nappa out.
“I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made.”

He signed off by writing, “thems the rules MCFC”, in a nod to his beloved football team Manchester City.
When another fan asked if he misses the “occasional Guinness”, Liam replied: “Yeah I miss talking absolute b******s when I'm bladdered.”
Liam has stayed off the booze during the tour and told crowds in Dublin in September that he was the “soberest” he’s been in Ireland since he was a child.
In May, it was claimed the Gallagher brothers were given stern health orders before going on tour.
The siblings reportedly had “thorough” medical examinations and testing to be able to get insurance for their multi-million pound tour.
The level of scrutiny over the brothers’ health was “like an astronaut going into space”, a source told The Mirror.
Both stars were given extensive advice and offers of useful health treatments as well as being told “not to overindulge” to ensure they are fit enough for their shows, according to the outlet.
“It’s going to be a lot different to the 90s – most rock and roll fun is banned!” an insider said.

Back in January, it was reported that Liam was planning to cut down on drinking and focus on his fitness to ensure the tour went off without a hitch.
"Liam's just returned from a boozy holiday and now plans to be in lock-down for the foreseeable to focus on getting fit for the tour,” a source told The Sun at the time.
"He is planning on being sober ahead of and on tour with Oasis.
"He's actually used cutting out booze to help him prepare and also to get through the shows before."
The singer previously revealed he stopped drinking onstage after an erratic performance with Oasis at Wembley in 2000.
Liam and Noel kicked off their history-making tour in Cardiff in July and have since performed dozens of shows across the UK and US.
They held concerts in Sydney and Melbourne earlier this month and are heading to Argentina, Chile, and Brazil next.
