Former Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher has confidently backed non-league minnows Marine to beat Tottenham in Sunday's FA Cup third-round clash.
The Merseyside outfit host Jose Mourinho's Carabao Cup finalists in the behind-closed-doors match this weekend in the stand-out tie of the round.
While Marine are preparing for their sixth FA Cup match this season, Spurs are venturing into the competition for the first time in the campaign.
Mourinho's side, fresh from beating Brentford in midweek to secure a Wembley Carabao Cup date in April, are ranked as firm favourites for the tie.
However, Gallagher, an outspoken Manchester City fan, has confidently declared that he expects there to be a significant upset in the competition.
Gallagher was asked by a Marine fan on Twitter: "How do you think my team Marine will get on against Spurs tomorrow?"
The response was fairly conclusive, with Gallagher stating: "Think you'll smash em."
Marine will take centre stage on the BBC's coverage tomorrow, with kick-off at 17:00 and being televised on BBC One.
The winners of the tie will secure a spot in Monday's FA Cup fourth round draw, where the fixtures for the fifth round will also be set.
