Liam Gallagher lambasts brother Noel over Brexit comments

Liam Gallagher has lashed out at his older brother Noel after the former Oasis star offered his views on British politics, Brexit and Jeremy Corbyn

In an interview with the Manchester Evening News, Noel revealed that he hadn’t voted in the EU referendum and criticised people attempting to overturn the result, commenting: “There’s only one f***ing thing worse than a fool who voted for Brexit, that’s the rise of the c**ts trying to get the vote overturned.”

While he admitted he used to be of the opinion that “if you don’t vote, you don’t get an opinion”, Noel spoke extensively about politics and said he felt bad “for us as a nation” at how Brexit had turned out.

However, his brother Liam was unimpressed, and posted a strongly worded tweet stating just that.

“Nothing worse than the c*** who doesn't vote then has an opinion on everything sit down stand up Dolly Gallagher,” he commented.

The “Dolly Gallagher” dig was in reference to another insult by Liam two years ago, where he claimed that Noel was singing Oasis songs like Dolly Parton.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds recently released a new EP, Black Star Dancing, and headlined the first day of Isle of Wight festival.
