Liam Gallagher has offered fans an exclusive insight into how rehearsals for the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour are shaping up.
The legendary Britpop band, famous for hits like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger, are set to perform their first live shows in 16 years next month.
They have reformed after their acrimonious split in 2009, which saw Liam fall out spectacularly with his brother and bandmate Noel Gallagher — a feud that has continued publicly for well over a decade.
Despite years of exchanging barbed jabs, fans are now holding their breath to see if the brothers can finally put their differences aside to deliver a stellar performance.
On Sunday, Liam, 52, took part in a candid Q&A on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he opened up about the band’s rehearsal progress. He rehearsed alongside Oasis bassist Andy Bell, guitarists Gem Archer and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, and drummer Joey Waronker.
Describing the session, Liam said: “Yesterday was spiritual. Very professional, we're just ripping it up to ras.”

When asked if Guinness was involved in their preparations, he was quick to dismiss the idea, stating: “We're professionals. No time for drinking.”
Fans were also surprised when Liam admitted he “doesn't do soundchecks” and revealed he will be packing his own suitcase for the tour, which will cover dates across the UK, Ireland, the US, South America, and Asia.
In a surprising twist Liam even spoke warmly about his estranged brother, saying: “Noel has been divine. Can't stop staring at him, he might have to get a restraining order out on me, can't help it.”
And it seems it’s not just lip service, with source close to the Gallaghers telling The Sun: “Liam drinks tea to help warm up his vocal cords. He feels really fresh and they're excited to get going. Rehearsals have been electric and they're perfectly in sync.”
Liam has previously said he abstains from drinking before gigs, explaining: “The voice don’t handle that any more.”
As fans eagerly await Oasis’s return to the stage, it seems the band is focused and ready to put on a show — and perhaps finally bridge the gap between the famously feuding brothers.
