Liam Gallagher exposes 'arrogant' brother Noel amid rumours of Oasis tour backstage drama

Liam Gallagher has called out his “arrogant” brother Noel amid rumours of backstage drama on their Oasis reunion tour.

The Wonderwall rockers reunited for the first time in 16 years last week when they kicked off their ‘Live 25 world tour in Cardiff after years of feuding.

And while fans were pleased to see the musicians in a good place after their infamous brawl in 2009, Liam couldn’t resist taking a cheeky swipe at his sibling, 58.

In a new interview, the 52-year-old agreed with Noel’s thoughts in their 2016 documentary Supersonic that they were total opposites, describing himself as a cat and Liam as a dog.

Noel had said in the film: “I'm a cat. That's just what I am. I've accepted it. I'm a bit of a b******d.”

“Without a doubt,” Liam agreed, in an interview featured in the upcoming book, A Sound So Very Loud: The Inside Story of Every Song Oasis Recorded.

“He's arrogant, sticks his a*** up, comes and goes as he pleases… loves being stroked. Total tart. Loves you when he wants. I only get took out on a lead,” he went on, per MailOnline.

The comments come after reports that tensions were brewing backstage at the brothers’ reunion tour.

Crew members were allegedly left upset over claims they won’t be given free tickets for friends and family, a long-standing industry perk for touring staff.

“The crew will be travelling around the country with the band, setting up the venues, and will be on hand throughout the concerts in case they are needed,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“They’ll be away from their family and are usually given tickets to invite them down to join them at one of the shows. But the Gallagher brothers have banned any free tickets being given out.

“The crew are all fuming. Many of them have toured with other big-name artists and have never known anything like it. All Oasis seem to care about is making as much money as they can. Is this about fans, or is the truth that it’s all about the money?”

Liam shut down the reports in his typically cheeky manner on X, writing: “Our crew members don’t have friends and there wife’s and husbands are glad to see the f**king backs of them and tell me n rkid everytime we see them they don’t know how we put up with them on a daily basis let alone go around the f**king world with them fyi [sic].”

Oasis kicked off their reunion tour to 75,000 fans at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.

On night two of their big comeback, they held hands while walking out onstage. Liam then let go of Noel’s hand to bow down to him.

The brothers will perform next in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before going global with shows in Japan, Argentina, the United States and Brazil.
